Planting flower gardens and flowerbeds:

You should always plant your flowers so they blend with the existing landscape features in your yard.  Size and proportion of your garden should always be thought out first hand before beginning.  The overall space you need should not be so small where the color and the beauty of your flowers are lost in the smaller features of your yard.
