ADVANTAGES OF A DRIP WATER SYSTEM:

If you are looking to conserve time, money and water for your Fort Collins Landscaped gardens, and have researched many different options, maybe installing a drip system is an alternative method you might entertain.

When you live in a drought stricken area, you know that every bit of water is essential and that every drop counts that you are using for your plants, flowers, and gardens.

 It might be to your advantage if you installed a drip irrigation system in your yard, to help better enhance the beauty of those gardens and areas that need water more frequently.

There are 2 varieties of systems to choose from, the below and above ground systems.

When using the above ground technique, use hoses that deposit small amounts of water that will continuously drip onto the ground and allow regular soaking to occur like soft raindrops falling.  This drip system is regulated by a pressure controller that ensures water is dripping and not spraying or streaming in any way.

The other system an underground drip is a little more work intensive, but has the added benefit of no visible watering system what so ever.  Essentially it is the same watering system as above, only a small trench is dug for your hose or pipe prior to any plantings or flowers being added to your gardens.   This will allow water direct access to the roots for a better watering system with remarkable efficiency.
